My first passion in this life was sailing and the wind tides carried me around our globe. In each landfall I made regardless of language or cultural barriers, I found communion with people through art. As I spent most of my 7 year circumnavigation in the southern oceans, the art was invariably sculpture as the earth with Her wood, clay or stone offered freely Her material for creative expression. Art reveals the most intimate aspects of being human. In sculpting I discovered that I, too, unveil a part of mySelf which I would not know how to express in spoken language. Each sculpture is an adventure within. My images in the process of creation, create me! The moon in all Her aspects is my muse. My intent is to express the archetypal feminine."
